Your top 3 underrated fighters?

Who are your top 3 underrated fighters? ???

I’d go for:-

  1. Eder Jofre - Phenomenal record this man has. I don’t know how he doesn’t figure in all fight fans all-time top 10 lists. Maybe something to do with the fact that he fought a lot of his fights in his home country.

  2. Ricardo Lopez - Probably the best fighter of the 1990’s. Again, like Jofre, probably didn’t fight enough outside of his homeland.

  3. Mike McCallum - Was probably one superfight away from being officially great. Should have fought the ‘big 4’. IMO, would have beaten Hearns & Duran, plus given SRL & Hagler very tough fights. :author: :bounce:  :boxingmatch: :britain: :crowded: :cwm28:

I don’t think Mike McCallum is under-rated at all.

Kalambay gave him a boxing lesson and Bomber Graham would of embarassed him even more a few years earlier.

Mike McCallum was world class.

Steve Collins was under rated..
tough tough man

Prime Ottke was underrated.

You mean he was overrated. That boy was given Charles Brewer and Byron Mitchell’s titles. Brewer and Mitchell were robbed. Not to mention all those other losses that became wins just cuz he was the home town fighter. Ottke retired with no losses. But he really should of had at least 5.

Ottke easily beat Brewer in the second fight. I think the Larsen win was more controversial.

I think so too. Problem is there should of never been a second fight. Cuz he didn’t deserve to win the first.

lol

Make no mistake, theres more than 1 person posting on this board right now who would whip Sven ‘The Feather Punching’ Ottke. Most overrated fighter to ever live, and I feel sorry for the poor chaps in his hometown that were too illiterate to know how horrible and gutless he really was
