Whyte v Rivas - O2 Arena - July 20th

Oscar Rivas has vowed to destroy Dillian Whyte’s world-title ambitions as he expects to be the “last man standing” in their summer showdown at The O2.

The undefeated Colombian has been confirmed as the next opponent for Whyte on July 20, live on Sky Sports Box Office, in a high-stakes clash between two rival heavyweight contenders in London.

This is a great fight. I expect a classic to take place. About time Rivas stepped up or got more top rated bouts!

Yeah i agree, this is a proper matchup and should be a hard hard battle.
Gotta go with Whyte (just) but Rivas does look good.

Also agree. Whyte isnt quite elite for my money, but hes a hard mofo with a lot of ability, Rivas seems to be in the same category. Cant help but think Whyte is kinda being played by Hearn with this kind of fight:confused:

This is THE Heavyweight fight of 2019 so far

Pretty good card Id say. I dont really like Whyte and think Rivas is a little undersold, so thats got my interest, gun to my head Id pick Whyte but nothing would surprise. David Price probably shouldnt be allowed to fight anymore… Szpilka vs Chisora is one I didnt realize was happening, that should be a tear up.

3 very good (for different reasons) Heavyweight fights and some good late news for Whyte!

Dillian Whyte-Oscar Rivas winner to get interim WBC title, Deontay Wilder fight by June 2020

whyte is more seasoned against better fighters. he may also own more wear and tear. think whyte has the goods late. i give rivas a real chance

I was surprised to see Rivas is generally 7/2 (10 bucks returns 45). Whyte has mixed in far better company, has the form and momentum, however, Rivas was a top amateur, totally unexposed and looks like a proper fit heavyweight not a fat lumbering sloth.

It’s slight odds against not going the distance too. The styles guarantee fierce exchanges, Whyte can iron anyone with that left hook (barring Oliver McCall, of course).

Anna is looking lovely as usual

Okolie up now, lets see how long it takes for him to stink the place out

Okolie staying in the middle of the ring and stalking Gudino in the first round.

Gudino moving and running around the ring almost being negative already.

1 nil Okolie

Not seen her tonight but saw her yesterday at the weigh in looking lush as ever.

Okolie trying to catch Gudino who is running even more in round 2.

Okolie knocks down his opponent in the 3rd round with a big right hand but unable to finish him.

Okolie must throw combinations at Gudino who is stinking the place.

4 nil

259lbs, WTH Whyte?

Okolie trying desperately to land against his opponent who has been falling down to survive.

5 nil

6th round was the same and Okolie knocked down Gudino in the 7th twice.

I know Gudino came at short notice but he is not putting up much of an effort.
