AS OLIVER MCALL DIDN’T KNOCK LENNOX OUT IN 2ND ROUND AGAIN, OLIVER FROM THE THIRD ROUND AND SO ON BEGAN TO JUST WALKED AROUND IN THE RING, AS LENNOX HIT HIM WITH HIS BEST SHOT AND STILL COULDN’T TROUBLE MCALL. PPL really need to give lennox a break and I am not a big fan of lennox, whether like it or not he was the man in his era. we all know that anyone can be beaten on any given night its only if you can beat the person who beat you that you are considered the real deal, I mean isn’t that one of the reasons we glorify Ali. lennox did the same thing he beat the ppl who beat him so I don’t know why he gets the short end of the stick.
I was never fond of lennox as he wasn’t too exciting but I did acknowledge him as the man of that particular era.
I think he was find in the McCall fight… IMO it was too quick of a stoppage, but I didn’t see his eyes so maybe the ref made the right decision, but he certainly wasn’t doing the chicken dance. Anyways, he redeemed both loses in his career, and the one draw in which he won the first fight anyways.
Listen I knock lennox all the time but the one thing that is truly nonsense is the klitchko bs, he was starting to really come on lennox and probably would have stopped him and sure as hell did not look like he took the fight to seriously as far as training. Vitali was a suck champion just big and goofy goofier than lennox. Lennox desreves no credit for his win over tyson and little more for his victories over holy but he beat vitali ok lets put it to rest. lennox was a good big man who fought cautious with a great right hand hed give alot of fighters problems

Do any of you remember the look on Lennox face when he didnt go down? it was almost like (jesus, still? wtf). And of course he retired to hide from a rematch. 11 days? 11 days to train? cmon now…anyone here knows that it takes a smart fighter 3-4 months to train for a fight. lennox trained for full 12 weeks to fight kirkjonson but johnson pulled out and klitschko was given to 11 days to fight lennox, vitali too good for lennox. also remmeber lennox was very heay which the later rounds would have gone more against him and lennox threw his best shot and never trouble klitschko, if lewis come in at a lighter weight against klitschko he may have not open a cut on klitschko face, and there no way lewis could have troublre klitschko a bit

Lewis beat Klitchko in a fight people need to look at again. Klitchko won the first 3 rounds but lewis won the rest of them and was breaking that boy down! 20 body shots in a row. Klitchko unable to defend himself from a vicious cut from lewis. I mean what else do you want lewis to do? He can’t go back in time and fight Ali and frazier. Look at the division now. Lewis was ducked by Tyson, Bowe, and Holyfield. He beat Bowe in the Olympics, then beat Holy at his best. Mike took too long because he knew he would get beat, and when they did fight, we know what happened.
I respect Lennox, and I’m a fan. I always rooted for Tyson{not Holy}, more than any other heavy. I hated knowing that Lewis was the best, and never got his shot. When he did, they tried to rob him. And when he retired, people still hate on him.
Point is, like him or not, Lewis was one of the best Heavies ever.
And on a side note, people talk about power, well, Lewis crumbled people when he wanted to, he just wasn’t a brawler that everyone loved. He’s not my favorite by far, but I’d put money on him against almost anyone with the exception of Ali.

Are you kidding? Holyfield is older than Tyson and he still beat him, and Lewis beat both Holyfield and Tyson. Age had nothing to do with it, they were all past their primes by the time they fought each other. Lewis was a real champion, Bowe was a fake.
