Where does David Haye actually go?

With Rahman, Klitchko, Toney and Peter unavailable his options are limited.

John ruiz maybe?

i saw speculation that he would fight barret…

monte barret would fuck him up

Actually you have a point. Barrett is coming off an impressive knockout win.

I think that would be a great first fight for Haye at heavyweight

Impressive knockout win? Has he fought again since starching Fields then?

Theres plent of fighters Andrew Golota, Chris Arreola, Sultan Ibragimov, Eddie Chambers, Hasim Rahman, take your pick.

you`ll be lucky to get 2 fights a year out of haye from here on in because the guy for all his talent has that audley harrison mentality whereby as long as he isnt being beaten he is still a star.

Golota would be a bump fight and a waste of everyones money

same with ibraghimov who would have to hope he could land that special punch as by going on his last fight he wouldnt be able to outwork the guy with the towel.

Arreola/Rahman is far too dangerous just yet for somebody who hasnt felt the true force of a heavyweight puncher yet.

As ive said on endless occasions if david is deadly serious about unifying the heavyweight division hell get himself over to america full time, spend the next 12 months fighting every 3-4 months or so against second tier decent fighters before moving on to the klitschkos, peters and povetkins of this world!!

I see a BJ Flores interview where in prep for Hayes fight with Maccarinelli, Haye and Arreola got into a heated sparring session and Haye dropped Arreola and he was that buzzed he was sent home. He sais next day David went over to clear the air Chris blanked him and refused to spar with Haye so i dont think Chris will take that routue.

;D

Is that true? ;D

Hardly surprising Haye decked Arreola. That’s what would happen if they fought for real.

arreola can punch

though unless he manages to get rid of that body fat, someone with the intensity like a haye/klitschko will eat him alive.

Haye should fight Fraudley , id love to see Harrison KOED again.

I wouldn’t exactly use intensity to describe how Klitschko fights.

I say he fights Oleg.

I want to see my man Sergie Lyakhovich get another shot.

When the whole talks of Haye vs Rahman started I initially thought that would be a great barometer for Haye fighting in the heavyweight division. Soon that was thwarted by the sequel of the snoozefest that was Rahman vs Toney being signed to fight each other again.

If Haye is supposed to fight someone just to see how he handles the weight and not be a no-namer, I would go with either John Ruiz, Eddie Chambers, Evander Holyfield (he would take the fight!!).

good shout mick

i still want him to fight steve cunningham

but heavy calvin brock my #1pick good boxer and puncher good first choice
second a big dude with no skills jameel mccline

Steve Cunningham is about as exciting as watching the communist organisation Fox! :lickish:

Haye would ruin him, Heavy is best bet.

Ruiz seems to be angling for a rematch with Valuev (and he’s got a pretty good case too). If I’m Haye I’m going for a mediocre fighter with a name. Maybe a Calvin Brock or Eddie Chambers, though Chambers is more dangerous than he looks. The kid is the epitome of relaxed in the ring and he might make Haye work a little more than he’d like and as shown in his last victory Chambers actually does know how to punch if he senses weakness. I think the loss to Povetkin will be one of the biggest boosts to his career as it forced him to address the faults of his fighting style. Calvin Brock has seemingly settled into ho-hum status and should just retire back to business banking while he still has a normal-looking face. Or how about Kronk fighter Jonathan Banks? His trainer, Emmanuel Steward has the name recognition and he could be on the undercard to a Klitschko fight. If he beats Banks, who has flirted with the HW division before, then he has his stage to call out just about anyone he wants because the fight would definitely be televised in some capacity. But Banks is dangerous. He has chin and he has punch.

What’s that mean? Is Cunningham any good? I’ve never seen him before.
