What has been the biggest Undefeated vs undefeated fight ever ?

What has been the biggest Undefeated vs undefeated fight ever ?

I dont mean biggest as in famous, i mean in terms of total fight undefeated if you add both of the fighters records up , so I guess Hatton + Mayweather would be big = Around 75 wins undefeated.

I think Roy Jones vs TOney was a pretty big one, so was calzaghe Lacy

Ali 31-0-0 - Frazier 26-0-0

Holligan (21-0) v Chavez (89-0-1)was huge

i make that a contest of 111 fights without a loss!

alternativly

Jakubowski (37-0) v Chavez (84-0)

121 is that?

in fact any chavez fight!

Hernandez (37-0-2) Chavez (80-0)

119 undefeated fights

cortes (44-0) Chavez (68-0)

thats quite an even match up of 112 fights

Oscar De La Hoya-Felix Trinidad was big. So was Oscar De La Hoya-Ike Quartey

Jones v Toney?

Calzaghe v Lacy?

Hatton v Mayweather would be massive!

Leonard-Hearns
Delahoya-Trinidad
Lacy-calzaghe
Holmes-Cooney
Taylor-Chavez

But the cake has to go to Ali-Frazier. that night was the biggest night in boxing

You beat me to Leonard Hearns!!! ;D

Chavez was a great, and my all-time #2 favourite fighter, but he did lose his 12th fight, so he should not really count…

Non Chavez; Jofre/Caraballo 99 fights

Kim/Benvenuti 89 fights

Trinidad/Campos 79 fights

Zarate/Zamora 75 fights (74 by TKO/KO)

Holmes/SpinksI 75 fights

Oliva/Brunette 69 fights

Robinson/ServoI 68 fights

Foreman/FrazierI 66 fights

Tyson/Tucker 65 fights

Holmes/Cooney 64 fights

Campos/Turner 64 fights

Leonard- Benitez

weren’t Salvador Sanchez and Wilfredo Gomez unbeaten? My memory fails me on that 1.

Sanchez lost before he won his version of the World Title

Leonard already lost to Duran before he fought Hearns
but thats one of the greatest fights of all time imo

my bad I meant to say leonard-duran.

its just that hearns is pretty much synonomous with leonard that subconciously I wrote leonard-hearns

Duran had already lost once before he fought Leonard.

ALI-FRAZIER 1—Im supprised not 2 many other pple have mentioned that

not 2 mention it was the BIGGEST FIGHT 2 ever take place in boxing history

It was billed as “Fight of the Century”. Delahoya-Trinidad. Also, Foreman-Ali, and Holmes-Spinks

Actually if you read the original question, the subject was how many total fights undefeated between 2 undefeated fighters engaging in a contest, m.r. undefeated. Ali-Frazier with 50 some wins combined is way down the list on those mentioned. (But it was a great historic fight I’ll admit)

DAMN, i don’t know how I forgot about Estaban de jesus
:coolclick: for pointing that out
