Ricky Hatton has told sky sports in an interview that popular english football talent wayne rooney has been sending him text messages asking him about meeting up some time and having a spar or something!
Then ricky goes on to talk about how we dont want jus england to do well in the world cup but also rooney aswell.

I don’t know much about Rooney so I can’t say your wrong but are you sure he want’s to get in the ring with a world class boxer, Ricky would probably take it easy on him.

From what i hear, rooney used to be a good amatuer boxer, i heard he could have made it big in boxing if he continued. only god knows that!

Kicking someone in the shin to start off a fight can be really effective. It’s one of the places you can’t muscle up.
