Awesome rematch of a terrific fight the first time around. Whole card has gone under the radar for some reason but its a solid triple header tonight. Great to see Wangek back in the States headlining at the Forum.
Daniel Roman 26-2-1 fights 21-0 TJ Doheny with two Spr Bantamweight belts a stake in the co main. Also Jessie Vargas 28-2-2 takes on the ever present 69-9-2 Humbert Soto who comes in fresh off boxing the snot out of Rios and for that let us stand and applaud ;D. Seriously though hope he fixed that hair :-X. Solid card looking forward to it!

Fyi Dazn is putting the screw job to some customers claiming e mails sent that there are no records of. Not the best business minds geared towards customer retention if ya ask me and they’re looking for excuses to get out of ‘Grandfathering’ in existing customers. Anyway…missed a good one by the highlights of it. Emmanuel Taylor apparently gave Shakhram Wonder Boy Giyasov all he could handle and had him hurt multiple times only to settle on a poorly scored 99-91 x2 and 97-93 wide loss. Need to see the replay.
Vaughn Alexander..Devons brother..comes to the ring in some S&M mask ???. Todd Grisham says he and Devon probably had to fight over the last piece of chicken :vd:. He’s taking on 18-0 Anthony Sims Jr back at 168.
Sims Jr steady working the jab short to long with very solid speed. Alexander rugged and has landed a couple wide right hands on the back of his head. And a low blow near rounds end.
Tough 3rd Sims Jr bringing in rights to body. Alexander gets in his own clean left and right hook and than lands huge right on the back of his head..again. Sims Jr looked like he stumbled from it and the ref warns Alexander but for a low blow?? Odd.
Huge right hands rocks Sims Jr at end of 4th. Sims is a talent but something seems a bit soft, can’t quite place it. A very active fighter though and solid movement. Maybe it’s the trunks or the hair but reminds of an early Anthony Hembrick
Ref gives “2nd warning” for behind the head but in actuality it’s about the 6th or 7th :-X
Sims Jr looks off balance going back to corner there.
Sims stays on the ropes all of 6th and takes a few legit big right hands. He has yet to deter or move Alexander. He’s pawing his nose a lot and looks a bit unsure, best round for Alexander so far.
Sims on his bike whole of 7th and uses entire ring. Very busy hands just not much on them it looks. Alexander a step behind there. Ref sounds like a cheerleader telling them great fight, it’s awesome, great fight before start of every round???. That’s weird.
Ref gives warning #29’ish to Alexander.
Levels starting to show in late rounds with Sims constant motion and solid speed. Best bet for Alexander to get him flat footed but he’s chasing shadows mostly.
Hunting and pecking mode for Sims in 9th and 10th really just looking to time out the round. Alexander throws a shot from the parking lot and hits nothing but air. Not sure about Sims Jr, very solid skill set but juuust a bit reluctant to engage and prone to right hands. No brainer on the cards with Alexander clearly winning just the 1
Soto and Vargas coming to the ring. Might be in and out on this one and just enjoy it. Not like rbrs are what they once were with streaming :p. Really like to see Soto log his 70th win here!
Bad cut on vargas, fromaheadbut, I’m hoping for a draw in this fight.
Good third with solid exchanges. Cut on Vargas needs duct tape. Vargas inside punching beating long rights of Soto but both trying to one up the other in constant exchanges. Kenny talking about Vargas fighting Jarrett Hurd sounds like silly talk.

:S
I think the longer it goes the better it is for vargas, Soto is great fun, and Is having some good success but surely he’s going to slow down a bit and vargas will Ave him.
Soto is great to watch though.
Hard way for a long vet to go out. Vargas turned up the power impressively drops Soto twice and gets ref stoppage in 6th. Two classy dudes.
