Duddy is ranked 2 by the WBO, in the top 10 of the other alphabets and is linked with a Pavlik fight.
Lockett-Duddy is a 50/50-ish in my book. So Pavlik-Lockett is on a par with Pavlik-Duddy.
Although I agree, Pavlik would muller Lockett.
Skelton deserves 6th for the W.B.O

I was going thru some rankings myself and found some pretty damn intersting things to say the least.
I just realized that the WBA has Haye, Arslan & Hill as Cruiserweight Champs. WTF?

Alexander Dimitrenko has been the WBO Inter-Cont. champ since 2005 why didn’t he ever fight for the WBO World title as that title is a step below to the world title?
How does Tito Mendoza who’s ranked #13 by the WBO get a shot at Erdei? When theirs fighters like Briggs, Garay or Diaconu available to fight
and are ranked higher then Mendoza?

All the alphabet groups are crap. Thats why I can’t believe so many knowledgeable guys on here keep referring to them. I never mention their letters. To me they don’t exist. I get some flack at times cause I say this guys only got a belt but it’s the truth. Anyone who wants an alternative for the betterment of the sprot should follow the Ring championships. Although their system is not perfect (which the Ring freely admits) it is better than what these alphabet idiots are offering!!!

The WBO may not be the biggest name, it is the lowest out of the big four, but end of the shit mandatories the IBf throw at fighters, take a look at some of them, their ibf smw changed hands 3 times this year, look who they made wlad fight, hatton fight…
The belt is only as good as the champion, and looking throught most weights the recognised and undisputed champions all seem to hold other abc belts, more than one whilst they have vacated the IBF at some point or the guy before them done it.

For starters Casamayor is champ because he beat Corrales, who beat Castillo, who beat Lazcano for the vacant title. I agree Joel should have lost his fight to Santa Cruz but the Ring didn’t judge the fight did they?
Many times the champion of the division is not the best fighter in the division, if that was the case then the championship would never change hands.
Casamayor won the Ring title from Corrales…Until he is beaten the title remains his…To lose the ring title you have to either lose it in the ring, Vacate the division or die

I think the WBA should add
The Super Interim- in case someone wins their interim belt while holding another title
The Super Regular-someone unifies the regular belt with another alphabet belt while another fighter is super champion.
and the WBA Smack Down Champion and the WBA RAW Champion
The Raw champ fights on Mondays, and the smackdown champ fights on Fridays.
