I recently purchased a 70 lbs. Everlast heavybag and it is pretty hard. Even with handwraps and new 12 oz. boxing gloves, there is mild pain in my knuckles from the impact each time I hit it hard due to the firmness of the bag. Is it ok for there to be a small amount of pain from punching a bag, or should there be no pain whatsoever?
