86 is a good run, chuck will be kicking death ass, rest in power chuck
yeah 86 is a good run, keeping fit must have helped… is it just me or is anyone else expecting a load of memes in the next few days.

The memes will be expecting a lot of Chuck Norris over the next few day. ![]()
Man this is just sad and one you had to do a double and triple take on. Namely because…It is Chuck f’kn Norris! Maybe the memes and rep overtook the race, but I didn’t believe it at first. Norris was a true trail blazer in that 70’s-80’s “karate craze” here stateside. The coverage immediately centered around his syndicated run in Walker Texas Ranger, the Missing in Action trilogy and of course every conversation a kid had in those decades “who really wins, Bruce Lee or Chuck Norris” (Lee, sorry Chuck but I mean
)…but looking back he had a fantastic run late 70’s early 80’s. No not BIG hits but just solid action flicks full of americana and geared to machismo. I swear it was completely normal on any given weekend to watch some Norris, Cynthia Rothrock or Saturday afternoon badly dubbed kung-fu movies etc and then every kid on the block would be out in the yard thinking they were literal karate masters
. Chuck Norris really did live that life. Pretty sure he had his studios opened nationwide there for a while. He didn’t “act”, he just walked in being bas ass Chuck and the cameras followed. Really was an icon and gave us some good memories back in the day. And the Grim Reaper didn’t “take” Norris, he asked very politely, said please and thank you, called him Sir and held the door. RIP Mr. Norris, there was only 1.
Very sad indeed. Sadly, death comes to us all. Didn’t realize he was 86. Seems we tend to freeze time with our favorite celebrities.
RIP legend
I remember when e first got a VCR around 1980 I was 7. My older brother rented Breaker Breaker and we must have watched it five times in 24 hours. It was awesome and my first exposure to Chuck. A big fan ever since regardless of his acting skill which wasn’t necessary.
I made the mistake of revisiting Breaker Breaker a few years back….. Sometimes memories are best left unspoilt.
