Just noticed on Boxrec that Esham Pickering is fighting for the IBF featherweight title against Valdemir Pereira on the undercard in Boston, should be a decent scrap!!
where are we going to be able to watch this fight?? probly will have to put my hands over my eyes on the net the next day untill i d/l it off a torrent site. just would love to watch it live…
It’ll be on HBO in the States and Sky Box Office in Europe!!
Also Kevin McBride will be fighting Mark Krence who Matt Skelton beat last year.
How on earth did Esham wangle that?

It’s a shame they couldn’t put the Matthew Macklin/Jamie Moore fight on this card. Matt would have drawn a few from the Irish community.
Its ok, I’ll do that when they know I’m coming!! ![]()
re the ‘irish community’ in boston, and not being confrontational or anything…, but do u really think boston’s locals will support Ricky? i dunno. after being resident over here since '93 and having many good irish-american mates i don’t think so…i think they’ll be behind the American fighter. who cares anyway as they’ll be drowned out by us.
cheers/cloughie (going up, going up, going up…ahem)
Ricks white with red hair, he drinks Guinness and hes mates with Mickey Ward, that’ll be enough to get some Irish support!! ;D ![]()
is there any british fight on sky before all this starts like normal and then switch over to the USA.?
Clintons defending his IBF Belt in Sheffield that night I believe!!
good stuff. nothing like hours and hours of boxing.![]()
It’s not yet confirmed but Clinton may be fighting someone called Jason DeLisle.

He doesn’t look a real threat and lost his last fight to Julio Gonzalez who Clinton beat and he has lost a number of times and does not have a high knockout ratio.
Clinton fought De Lisle before and was knocked down in the first round before eventually stopping him in the 12th. So yeah, he’s a threat, but I’d rather see Clinton fighting someone he hasn’t already beaten.
Thanks for confirming that for me Gymbo. I thought that he might have fought him before. I agree with you I’m more interested in him fighting someone that he’s already proven himself against.
