It’s interesting that Keyshawn Davis and Mercado, two excellent prospects from the same amateur class, have taken such different professional paths. Keyshawn Davis is now a bona fide contender. Where as Mercado is only known to the boxing nerds. For me ? Mercado doesn’t impress me as much as Davis but this boxing and there have many great fighterss who probably would not pass the eye test (Hopkins, Ward)
