I think this has been mentioned in the past ( It could have been in the build up to the Castillo fight though ) regards to a poker tourny whilst in Vegas.
I know a few on here do appreciate the game and may want to partake in it, so here is the proposition;
One night ( TBC, although Friday is the night so far ), I will arrange a knockout tournament to be held at the Excalibur Hotel and Casino. The format is quite simple, you will start with $100 ( this is your own money of course and not donated by myself or the Casino : ) and when ya out of money ya gone.
What i would prefer to do is that any chips that are remaining when the body count gets to 3, these will be split between the players. Now dependant on how many enter will reflect the overall pot value. Of course the Casino will take a house charge for this per hand dealt as per normal in the Casino’s. This will have to be arranged with the casino before hand, which i will arrange ( or at least try ).
All im looking for at the moment are people that are up for it, and to also nail down a particlar night that’s good for players wanting to participate.
Tables within the Excalibur hold up to 10 players ( as far as i can remember ), and within the party of pals im going out with at least 10 of them are up for it, so numbers is the main objective so as i know what to quote when arranging with the Casino.

The Excalibur have similar tourny’s running too, i guess it’s a failsafe if the plan goes tit’s up like ! The idea was to have just us forum goer’s playing rather than Tom, widgy, and Harry. To be fair i dont mind Tom and Harry but that bloke widgy is a bottom
No No im all for a forum only game if you can arrange it. Ive no experience of setting them up like but i believe they will provide us with dealers or a dealer if its only ten of us ?
To be fair mate thats gonna be the only stumbling block i will encounter, but with one’s charm ( or lack of it as some may have you believe), I should be able to wangle it as they have dealers floating anyway.
just REMIND THE ladies and beginners - No Coaching is Allowed anywhere in Vegas. they’ll have to learn the basics before they go

I’m having my FIRST Texas Hold’em lesson tonight at Bronco Billy’s casino. I have bought they’re cards which feature Western faces such as floozie girl for the queen and gambler man for the joker etc…
so far in practise I have WON two hands, against myself one of which was a two pairs…
if anywhn wants a deck of these cards for they’re airplane ride to USA ring me PM I’ll send you a wild west deck of cards to practise with - bullet hole through the middle and all…
