O’shaquie Foster v Raymond Ford May 30th

Stylistically this could be a very interesting match up. Just go blow it up into some overpriced PPV. Just air the fight to the masses  , assuming Dazn.

quality match up, could be a terrible watch

Foster seems to have already gotten into Fords head as he really doesn’t like Foster, not being able to keep his cool at the press conference…

Just can’t get away from thinking Foster has all the tools to handle Ford with an understated best of both worlds ability…in spots…at range and inside, physicality. Not convinced Ford has the well rounded mystery or caginess to make Foster go full backfoot coasting so we may actually get some quality exchanges. Looking forward to a good fight.

i can’t wait for this one, i expect a high quality fight, i just hope it doesn’t turn out a dull affair, as it quite possibly could. i’ve been saying that o’shaquie should be at 135 for awhile but if he’s made the weight without too much of a struggle then i think he’ll pull out a comfortable decision but with most rounds still being competitive

Very methodical breakdown by Javon Woodard Jr over much more experienced Miguel Flores in the opener. Looked undersized initially but wow. Kid came in fighting his first 10 rounder and on paper a massive step up in opponents with winning records and he absolutely beat the brakes off of Flores. Speed and sharp puncher. Dropping him 3 times and ref reaching the ten count in the 8th. Impressive showing there.

Have 3-1 Foster early. The ‘physicality’ I mentioned wasn’t exactly Foster escorting aka throwing Ford thru the ropes in the 1st :grimacing: but thankfully no one was injured. Bizzaro shit there, Ford looked like Superman slipping thru the second rope and gliding face first outside the ring! Shock should have lost a point but the ref seems to have sorted it out and a decent fight is breaking out. Ford having a good forth taking the half steps back and pumping a sharp jab to meet Foster who is fighting this one up front for the most part. Even now 2-2

6th Foster Ford spent time with hands down and posing mostly. Can also see Foster overthinking things a bit but finding a stride. Have it even 3-3

7th Foster started rolling them off early. Ford looking for timing traps counter hook as Foster gets more aggressive. Like to see Foster get to the body more but the right has a home, 4-3 Foster

5-3 Foster, Ford falling into the trap of looking for 1 punch.

Tough 9th to score for me, basically pick your poison. Foster at range, sharp and moving and Ford committing to early hooks and up front. Flip a coin but very slight edge to Ford. 5-4 Foster.

Little bit of a fugly 10th round but not liking Fosters body language. Ford sloppy a bit but clubbing, clipping and on the chest of Foster last 30 seconds. 5-5 even up

Solid 1tth for Foster came out took control. Rocked Ford to ropes and stunned him with right hand and Ford had to take a look. Solid scrap. Scores will be all over but 6-5 Foster

Foster takes 12th in control but Ford is no dog just looks labored and sting left his punches. 115-113 Foster for me no question but these cards ‘should’ be nuts. Close legit scrap

good fight, they were very evenly matched at the start right down to the rappers/jackets/style etc etc it was literally down to the last few rounds… think Ford might kick himself when he watches it back. enjoyed that thou

Shakur rushes the ring and a heated facedown breaks out. Both yelling “n*gga and Biatch” at each other a few times. FFS gentlemen, outstanding way to welcome new fans and market the sport. Brilliant. Save that bs for the social media schoolyard. My facepalm gif is not working for some reason
