I was thinking about this topic and for the life of me i cant think of any champ more overated than Joey Gamache,
I mean 2 world belts both for vacant titles , against 2 fighter 18-1 records , a joke protected fighter who lost to all the big names he fought.
Give me your views guys and others u feel are overated ![]()
For you American guys tell me how u rated Chris Eubank ?
Overated ? i think so

I can’t believe no one has said it yet: Hasim Rahman.
Rahman is in the running for worst champions of all time, but he’s not overrated because nobody rates him highly.
My vote goes to Tyson. So many people call him the greatest HW of all time, but I’m from the the camp who believes he’s not even close to the best. He might be the most electrifying or entertaining, but in my book, he’s on the low end of the top ten all time. I don’t want to start that debate on this thread, but in my book, he’s the most overrated.
I think the second half of Tyson’s career settled him out to where he was supposed to be. He was overrated before Holyfield beat him, but after I think the general estimation of him was right on.

I know most of you will disagree, but Tito Trinidad was always overrated to me. I always thought that he relied on his power too much and never had elite boxing skills.
I strongly disagree. Young Tyson was in a league of his own. Anyways I think that guys like Calzaghe have been over hyped by one or two fights like he was against Lacy. I think that guys like Hamed, and Hatton were overhyped along with guys like Michael Grant, Audley Harrison, Jermain Taylor? Nah I like Jermain, um Vargas was overhyped IMO, So was Sharmba Mitchell.
Ken Norton. The definition of a paper champion. And I second the Eubanks, Calzaghe mentions. As well as Wonjongkam
For the record I refuse to recognize that fighter who holds the WBC strap at Flyweight and there for I will not even mention his name anymore.
