Unbeaten heavyweight Moses Itauma will face fellow Briton Dillian Whyte in Saudi Arabia on 16 August.
The 20-year-old, seen as one of British boxing’s top prospects, has stopped 10 of his 12 opponents since turning professional.
The bout marks a major step up for the Kent fighter, with Whyte, 37, a former world-title challenger and seasoned contender.
In the co-main event in Riyadh, Liverpool’s WBA featherweight champion Nick Ball, 28, defends his belt against Australia’s Sam Goodman.
Also on the card, former super-featherweight world champion Anthony Cacace, 36, takes on American Raymond Ford, while British heavyweight David Adeleye, 28, faces Croatia’s Filip Hrgovic.
I think it may be too much for Moses, but if he makes it through, I may have to start paying him attention. Is Dillian in shape and has he been keeping in shape? He really had no other way to go in terms of championship fights.

Dillian has not been in shape or fought anyone of note for 3 years or more.
I hope he makes an effort to get in shape, but at the moment it feels like he’s being given a payday so that Itauma can have his name on his record.
Is this only available from Dazn in UK also? Keep hearing double talk about how they are getting out of the PPV model :kick: then see this listed as 60 bucks over here. I’ve seen a few prospects come up but the dumbest thing a promotion can do is hide a guy they’re pitching for a title shot behind a PPV paywall. Card has no business on PPV. It makes no sense. Ball v Goodman should be fun and Ford has a great chance to shine v a Nova who has been fighting on banana peels as of late. Figure that’s all about setting a Ball v Ford rematch.
This is gonna be a massive test for Itauma! He’s looked great so far, but Whyte’s got the experience. Still, at 20, Moses has some serious potential. The co-main with Nick Ball defending his title is another one to watch.
Do we know why? Load of bollocks. Wasn’t it supposed to be a WBA International title on the line, with #1 contender status or some such bullshit? Can’t do that and make it 10 rounds. Ridiculous.
Moses is so calm and calculating which makes him ominous. Although there is a rumour that Itauma was dropped in sparring.
Whyte should be in shape especially for a fight of this stature. Ironically if Whyte was in this shape against his last opponent he would not have got this opportunity.
No idea why this would be a 10 rounder now. Hope it is not a factor in this contest.
Any word on who changed the distance ? it should definitely be a 12 rounder. Though ironically no one thinks it’ll go near 12. Does feel a little hand held. In general card is just off not being in the U.K. Literally their only world champ in Ball and not at home.
