MAB won the fight but Juarez is impressive

im looking forward to seeing more of rocky juarez..he is very strong and very very competitive and never stops trying and can take punishment well…his only problem of course is his work rate but he was vastly improved vs barrera than against soto…he worked behind the jab more and threw a deadly right hand…he didint just rely on that big left hook…if he improves on his work rate and putting punches together a little better he’s gonna be great i think…at the very least he’ll never be in a boring fight…

i must agree 8)

He kinda sucked against Raheem aswell, even though he won, but against barrera, he looked terrific, and another time or place he may have been the winner. I don’t know if he will ever fulfill his potential, or if he has that certain X factor that makes him a great, we’ll have to see.

i thought that Barrera won the fight, and i thought he won it clearly, but it was a good competitive fight and Juarez looked extremely good, the best i’ve seen him thus far, but i think that due to the difference in size and styles that Morales would be able to beat Juarez easier (not saying it would be a piece of cake, cause it would be a fight), than Barrera was able to

MAB might edge it because he was defending champ, but if Juarez was the defending champ I think he should had got the win.

juarez was able to bloody up MAB like so few others have…

Barrera won that though…

Juarez will hold a title at 130 soon.

Juarez and Barrios are going to be the new Morales and Barrera ;D

and how dull will that be! ;D

both are tough, both have power, and both love to fight, don’t see how that would be dull

they are good fighters, both Morales and Barrera are great. They box at their own pace but can step it up and let the punches fly. I see both Juarez and Barrios as being one paced.

i’m not saying that it would be just as great, but it should be a damn good fight

agree.

after re-watching the Juarez fight, i think that Morales would be able to handle him easier, mainly due to his style and size

I agree with the post above. I think Barerra did enough to squeeze out the victory against Juarez. I think Juarez attitude at the end was kind of crappy. He made it seem like Barrera never grazed him the whole time, and it was obvious that more than Barrera’s jab landed though that was his most effective punch.
