The rumours are that his Top Rank contract expires and he is free to return.
This leaves him available to face Geovonta Davis or Shakur Stevenson in a huge super fight.

I’d love to think he could come back and enjoy the indian summer of his career, but its fraught with risk isn’t it?
So few happy endings in this sport - and its always the greatest fighters that have the greatest downfalls.
Still… Loma is a great, maybe he can prove me wrong?
he will probably pick up a belt. there are some already calling for a fight with naoya, i doubt loma can even make 130 anymore, i don’t see that fight happening
Ring Magazine reported last week that Loma is set to reverse his retirement with a comeback fight eyed for this autumn (September, October, November).
The same publication is now reporting that Lomachenko intends to return to an immediate world title shot against IBF and WBO super featherweight champion Emanuel Navarrete.
If the Ukrainian ends up beating Navarrete, then Lomachenko is eyeing a WBA lightweight champion in recess Gervonta Davis.
Could be interesting but keep reminding myself he’s going on 39 yrs old with that style and that is a very hard ask. But as Loma has proven he’s cut from a special cloth. He says he wants to go right into a big fight. How Tank Davis has not been fully stripped is mind boggling too. I’m sure they, Loma, already has a path plotted out and conversations whoever the bigger opponent should be.
