Khan's Corner

Decent performance from Amir, good step up for him. Bit unimpressed with the corner though - between the fifth and sixth he sat on his stool, corner silent, til Khan had to ask “So what do I do then? Should I just keep doing what I’m doing?”

Useless Bastards.

Yeah, I agree.
Khan was getting hit a bit too much though… he needs to calm down and stop trying to be so wild, he could get caught by a flash KO punch if he is not careful. He looked good when he was using his jab. Good learning experience for him though against a tough fighter. Just needs to tighten up his defence a bit more!

They must be. Who’d he have in his corner, Helen Keller???

True. tbh, I though he had been pinged for a minute when he caught that right in the corner! He was backing up in straight lines as well. He’s got a great toolbox though, hasn’t he? Power, handspeed, reach, good head movement…

not impressed by Khan tonight
he was too sloppy when he came inside, his defence needs working on and he needs to pick his punches alot better…he thought he could just roll over the guy with these quick flurries but they weren’t even going through the opponent’s guard. All that did was waste energy.
He also hasn’t got much power, he’s still young but there are alot of improvements that need to be made.
All the showboating was irrelevent, all he managed to do was get hit…He thinks he has the reflexes of Roy Jones but that is not the case.

as expected for me… still has alot of work to do but lets face it its only his 7th fight

All this was was Amir getting his first shock that he werent gonna have it easy.

You can still see all the raw talent there, Amir just needs a better group of guys around him.

Get a decent trainer and a superior corner in and Mr. Khan could keep on rolling all the way to top contender level.

tbh with you, i didn’t really see anything special…
Overall he is a great fighter, but nothing stands out imo

Agreedsaddo. Fair points theone, but perhaps a tad harsh at this early stage. Not sure about him having no power either, the guy has only been stopped by one fighter…

don’t get me wrong, I think he will become world champion someday and i know he’s still a kid in boxing terms so he’s got a long way to go.
I just don’t think he will become another De La Hoya or Mayweather

This was a good fight for him in the sense it exposed a lot of his weaknesses and hes got a lot to work on back in the gym. Fighting on the inside, his defence needs working on and he needs to stop pussyfooting around by showboating and so on. Overall, not a bad performance. Props to both fighters.

not impressed at all.he was showboating (bigheaded dick),fell through the ropes, his guard was shit and if he’d of been given a big punch he would of been on his arse IMO.

Good news for your little flutter mate
In fighting is a big issue for me and the hands dropping and stupid showboating will be his undoing if he keeps it up.
Anyone else think he was’nt planting his feet when throwing punches?
Seemed to be hitting a lot of glove and was almost firing them off on 3/4 power.

Danny williams opponent
F8cks sake ;D
Looks like a Cruiserweight and is going down in 3

Williams has gone to sleep as usual. God he’s a lazy fooker.

Looks like he should be fighting pikeys trying to start trouble around his kebab shop. This guy doesnt look like he should be in a ring.

WTF is williams doing :o

here we go 8)

That was nice, Williams version of the Rope a dope lol.

No need Danny, knock this bum out

Just cannot EVER work Williams mind out ???
he feebly jabbed him over in 1.

Danny is infuriating to watch. I swear one day Jim Mcdonald, a quality trainer btw, is jus going to slap him about in the corner. Sometimes it looks like he needs to so Danny will get his arse in gear.
