Isn't obvious why hatton's workrate dropped....

because he like most of the smaller fighters…examples in Shane and Mayweather…they don’t move or throw as much when they move up in weight .they feel as if they have gained the power to hurt the bigger guys…shane at 154 looks terrible…mayweather at 147 i don’t believe can move like he did at 135-130..so hatton already believeing that he’s power puncher must have thought that his punhces were doing more damage than they really were esp after the first round knockdown…so he slacked during cardio so he could maintain the extra pounds and the result was he didn’t throw as much on the inside because the extra pounds tired him out and he was hitting a bigger heavybag this time…

Yep. I said the exact same thing on another thread.

Either his work rate dropped around the 6th & he got frustrated & forgot what to do once Collazo was still there after the 10th round.

                     Good point.

Don’t you think that for one of the first times Hatton being made to miss worked his stamina a bit?

hatton had nothing in response to collazo when collazo started to show the tricky boxing and sharp jab we had expected him to display from the start…

i dont know what the deal was, maybe hatton was expecting an easier night, though i think hatton edged it, that sure didnt go to plan…

Agreed on Collazo’s factors.

Hatton seemed to be prepared for his trickiness…but I guess you just dont know till you climb through the ropes.

everything in that fight took his stamina…i mean he really looked arm weary…his legs were still there, because he recovered extremely fast when he was hurt. He still looked as if his legs never got tired..it was his arms that got tired aND YES the misses made it worse…

does anybody think collazo’s gloves looked suspiciously large? ;D :-X

SHUT IT, Miles!!! ;D

Collazo also went to Hatton’s body

weren’t they white?

Collazo is puerto rican

and yet his teeth come from “parts unknown”

I was refering to his gloves…i knew what race he was…

He justed looked bigger than hatton over all, and that was almost an upset there to add to the list.

I think that was a huge part in it…most of hatton’s opponents succumbed to the constant pressure and never boxed him…Collazo kept him at bay and forced him to fight from the outside a Little and it is obvious that hatton does not have the boxing skills physically…he missed more than those comp p.u. box numbers let on…

o? ;D

Agreed

CC you’re absolutely right
