Im a danny fan but i find it annoying that he and James Toney as wealthy pro athletes cannot find the will power and dermination to watch their weight and control their diet.
I read that Danny said his biggest weakness is Mr Kipling Cakes.

He looked in good shape at the Matt Skelton fight at the weekend. Maybe he has finally realised he could do something in a weak division. I’m not as confident of Skelton winning as i once was…
danny is a big lad, but at the fight with skelton his physique looked the best ive seen it. matt was the one carrying the extra weight (check out the rolls) but was still the fighter with the higher work rate. maybe the extra blubber isnt such a factor for some fighters.
True but judging by last weekend Danny is going to come in lighter than the first fight! I’m trully amazed and still not 100% convinced he can stay off the cakes but if he does Matt’s in trouble.
well i dunno, i reckon matt did enough to get the decision the first time round. and danny said that he stayed away from the cakes and big macs in the first fight cos he knew it would be tough.
I also had Matt winning (by 2 rounds) in the first fight but the 12th round had me very worried. I’m still picking Matt to win the rematch but just with less confidence. Danny has more skills than Matt and can probably hit harder. If Danny had caught Matt like he was caught on Saturday then it’s bye bye Matt. As ever the question with Danny is his attitude, (and weight), if both are good then it’s a tough ask for Matt even with his great workrate.
i wouldnt ever predict danny’s performance in a fight cos you don’t know how he’l come out, it could be tyson style, or it could be klitshko style, or even samil sam.
I thought Williams was fortunate to get the nod in the 1st fight. I feel pretty confident that Skelton will win the rematch, just got a feeling that a close decision will go Matt’s way this time.

How tall is he, 6ft 2 or something? I don’t know where he puts it all and is still able to box 12 rounds like he did against skelton. I hear that he’ll be at the lower end of 18st for his rematch, so hopefully we’ll be getting a KO!

I like Danny Williams and I REALLY do not like Matt Skelton. The guy is just a dirty street fighter. I’d love to see Danny get another title shot, he might have a chance against one of these awful guys like Valuev, then maybe he’ll get the payday he deserves.
