That fight was too cringeworthy for me. Old man Foreman should not have ate those forearm shorts to the jaw and face. It was too much man. Too much.
Yeah I cringe when I see that, but Big George really sucked it up, damn what a chin.
Foreman took the opportunity because he thought he could land something on the smaller champion. Holyfield could not agree to a fight with Tyson so took this option which he thought would be nearly as lucrative and far easier.
It ended up a hard fight for Evander and he landed some beautiful unanswered combinations mid-way into the fight and Foreman survived. Overall it was a good and entertaining fight. It showed Big George had heart and a great chin. Holyfield was exhausted at the end of the fight and was holding right at the end.
A truly sad fight is Ali v Holmes or Louis v Rocky this was not in that category.
I actually loved that fight ;D. My very first gathering of friends for a ppv at the cost of 5 bucks and a six pack. Round 7 belongs in a time capsule! Much respect and admiration came from that fight. Want to see an even worse end of fight look for Big George check out the Alex Stewart fight :-X

You can tell he is going through the vintage 1990’s heavyweight scene which is worth a look at because it was far more entertaining than the current champions.
