hatton vs mayweather jr

who do you think would win

Mayweather. One-sided points win

Im sorry im a big Hatton fan as you may have realized but there would be no one sided victroy against Ricky, Floyd is not strong enough to keep Hatton off him all night, it will be close but Ricky has a good shot.

I can’t wait to see Floyd get in the ring with someone who doesn’t lose composure
Although it would be upsetting if Ricky beat Mayweather then was ranked ahead of Calzaghe

Another highly original thread

Come on there’s not even as many as the god, santa clause and the easter bunny is ducking Margarito threads

I agree Adam ::**

killakam has just EXPLODED onto the scene with these today, SON.

This Margarito nonsense is basically ‘Royal’ on a large scale… :stuck_out_tongue:

DANE KESSLER BE BEAT BY NO BEING!

Haha Enough said.

Floyd will beat Hatton, and I got knews for you, Floyd is strongewr than Hatton.

ohh risky statement, not disagreeing both are two of my fav fighters but its not proven that floyd is stronger than hatton because theyv fought very different opposition, floyd has probs faced the better opposition in bulk, but has never faced someone like kostya tszyu. and some people including me believe with hattons style where he gives his opponents no room and buly’s them with body shots and tight hooks he could fare well against floyd, floyd doesnt fare all that well in trading…example a few moments with judah or corley, but floyd has such excellent defence boxing skill and heart that he comes back from any lost rounds or hard shots with supremacy. in my mind i wouldnt state the winner to me its an absolute toss up
depending on the wieght it is held at
i also believe that its not proven that hatton has no hope at 147, i beleive he just couldnt look good against a strong + awkward southpaw like collazo on his first trip to the division, and whilst at the same time not, kinda felt he should face urkal to really test whether he was ok at 147, and nothing more then a whitewash or a stoppage would have been ok?? but i feel hes given up on that and now he wants to move to light welter and floyd wil eventually move to 154 and claim a title in his 5th wieght class!!
so i fear it may never happen at worst!!
peace

:appl: If only more people wouldn’t realize this..

Mayweather, as much as i dont like him, would destroy Hatton and stop him in the late rounds.

After the Tszyu fight i was really excited about Ricky fighting Floyd as i thought he would have a very good chance. However after Collazo i aint too sure, if a slick boxer with good skills gives Ricky all that trouble then imigine what one of the most talented boxers for years with great skills would do to him. At 140 Ricky still has a shout, at 147 Mayweather outboxes Hatton.

It would be like Mayweather Vs Gatti all over again…

… But ricky might manage another round or 2

Mayweather puts on a clinic, stops Hatton late or cruises to a lop-sided decison.

I have not seen much of Hatton, but what I have I wasn’t too impressed. I think Mayweather would knock him out. Pretty Boys challenges are ahead when he moves up another weight class.

Thinking about this fight,I still think it’s a good match at 140 but not 147.I’m not sure if the Collazo fight has any bearing on this,Hatton had 7 weeks to prepare, was fighting a tall, strong, southpaw(his stylistic nightmare)and he did “win”.If Hatton could use those devestating(at140)body shots and smother Mayweather.than who knows? I still think PBF would win though,Hatton would get hit too much and would surely get cut?
