Many people believe that Muhammed Ali was the greatest trash talker of all time but I disagree. Ricardo Mayorga has to be the greatest trash talker of all time, his antics at press conferences are legendary. He has been a shot fighter after the loss to Trinidad with 3 strait poor performances including the De La Hoya whooping, but it was fun while it lasted. I wish he could have spoken english so everybody could have enjoyed it in the States.

Great statements. Toney deserves an honorable mention by far. But Mayorga was more ruthless. After Spinks said that this fight was dedicated to his late mother Moyarga said don’t worry I will reunite you with your mother. That was probably the coldest statement in boxing history, he also told Oscar that after the fight he was going to fuck his wife. If you don’t know Spanish you will not get all the story because the translators are a little slow.

Mayorga is sick, where as toney is more comedic, but when u see him freak out when sparring with green, he is SO intimidating. I think Mayorga takes it too far, its all part of the game for him.

CC.. Exactly Mayorga is by far the worst trash talker but you have to understand spanish. The translator would not say some of the harsh words he would call oscar. Like that one dude say, Mayorga would be a celeb if he knew english.
Bernard Hopkins, his trash talking is cryptic, also dissing when he wants it, also mystical. One of my favorite quotes by him is
