Transporter was OK but he was made after the movie Snatch.
I do not buy into him being a tough guy in any of his subsequent movies.
Even the axe fight scene? I think he is showing some great reflexes, very flexible.

Not a fight scene but Jason Statham did a great job in whatever that Melissa mcarthey film about spies was, wife watches it a couple of times a year :S… He’s pretty funny when he has the chance… Good for the baldy git
