Damn guys. I think that this is the true definition of a toss up. I think that Jermain is gonna win it though. Taylor hasn’t gotten the respect that he deserves. All these people are singing B-Hops praises now that he beat Tarver, but a lot of people were saying that Taylor beat a past-it Hopkins. I think that Jermain’s defense is the key to this fight. His defense is vastly underrated IMO. Winky is gonna keep coming forward and Taylor is gonna jab his ass all night. Taylor UD 12. What do yall guys think?

Winky, UD… Taylor doesn’t throw angles on the inside and technically they are his only real weakness and he can still cope with them.

I see it going the same…I still think Taylor is a little green and Winky is far too cagey not to frustrate Taylor…I’m betting for the UD but think Winky wins by stoppage…

did you see the punishment Winky got when he got rough with Vargas Taylor can’t get rough enough (probably ;)).

Based off what I have seen of Vargas and Taylor I don’t think Taylor beats him on the inside or outside… just like Vargas couldn’t out fight him (filthy judging…)

VArgas isnt half the fighter Taylor is. Vargas is nothing more than a hype job and whenever he faced real competition got it handed to him. Taylor is much more powerful and explosive than Vargas. Not to mention just a better all around boxer. Vargas is no middleweight.

Taylor found a way past B-hop (if you agree with the judging or not) he will find a way past Winky.

Taylor UD. I still think Taylor is going to be to big and strong for Winky. Winky has a great defense and jab, but I think it will come down to Winky not having any power to make Taylor respect him.

The way I look at it is that Taylor won two close decisions against B-hop that had enough power to make Taylor respect him. Winky lacks that power, I am not saying that Taylor is gong to whip his a$$. But Taylor has been in with the best and came out on top. Winky is along the same lines as Hopkins except that he is busy. I dont think that Taylor will be bothered by this at all. I have a lot of respect for Winky, but I think Taylor takes the UD.

You are making Winky out to be some god like boxer, and he is not. He is one of the best in the business, but far from unbeatable, Soliman proved that. I believe Taylor has the ability to beat Winky. He is going to be physically a bigger fighter than what Winky has fought before, which can affect the fight.

First you are the one the brought up Taylor fighting on the inside you did. Comparing old men Tarver and B-hop to this is just as ludicrous, B-hop has not been known to throw 50+ punches a round in a long time. My point is that everybody keeps making Winky out to be unbeatable, which he is not. I think Taylor can and will win. How am I straddling the fence when I am trying to make a case for Taylor? If I am argueing for him then obviously I think he can win, and I realize that he can lose. I dont view fights through (insert fighters name here) colored glasses, I know that there is just as much chance of him winning as losing. But I have not changed from my view point of Taylor winning in any post.

I have no doubt that winky will make J.T look confused and disorientated…to say the least …he’ll learn within the first 5 rounds that those monkeys he has been sparring weren’t Winky .. .then you’ll see his punch output drop.. then its to the collection window for me once again :laugh:
