There is a rumour about Wardley v Dubois being the next fight.
This would be a huge clash of British heavyweights that would be an exciting fight. Wardley has got better with each performance and has earned the respect of fans by taking on all comers even when he is the underdog. Dubois flattened AJ but got destroyed by Usyk in his last fight so is a big risk for him to take on a dangerous Fabio.
I think Wardley will win as he is faster, fresher, resilient and hits harder.
The current date and venue being preferred by organisers is May 9 with Londonâs O2 Arena and Manchesterâs Co-op Live Arena in the running.
Should Wardley face Dubois at the iconic London venue, it would be his second consecutive appearance since beating Joseph Parker in that exact venue in October last year.
Previous suggestions made it appear as if a stadium like that of Tottenham Hotspur could be considered, but it is clear a smaller venue is being targeted.
When addressing the possibility of a bout materialising, promoter of both talents Frank Warren insists it is a fight he is willing to make.
âWardley will fight in early May,â he told talkSPORT. "It is probably odds on that he will fight here.
"Iâm trying to catch up with George [Warren] who has been across it and in contact with both teams.
âI love that fight, if that can be made I think that is a brilliant fight.â

Hope Wardley can make a statement with a good win here but I wouldnât rule out Dubois winning here. You feel if he loses then itâs retirement for him.

i like this fight but i agree that daniel does get unwarranted title shots
Dubois legitimately earned the title shot against Usyk the second time around. He beat Hrgovic, Miller and AJ. CanââŹâ˘t get much better than that.
daniel got stopped by joe joyce, then his best win after that to get a title shot was almost getting stopped by a cruiserweight against kevin, where he was stopped by a jab. first unwarranted title shot, iâm not sure why youâre mentioning him beating jarrell miller, thatâs not a flex & his fight with filip could have gone differently if he was warned or penalized for the use of his head. oleksandr was about to be stripped of his ibf belt so he vacated it, if you think wins over jarrell & filip warrant a title shot after you were stopped by a jab in the previous attempt, two fights before then weâll have to agree to disagree. so daniel fought aj for the vacant belt, unwarranted title shot number two. daniel then gets a shot at the lineal belt because oleksandr wants his belt back & he quits again, if oleksandr hadnât of been forced to give up his belt he probably wouldnât have bothered with daniel a second time. daniel gets stopped again, even easier, unwarranted title shot number three. now daniel might get the fabio fight coming off the back of that loss, unwarranted title shot number four
Dubois beat the then undefeated Hrgovic, Baby Miller and the former unified champion AJ. That was impressive and there was no one else better at the time to face Usyk.
Usyk is struggling to find an opponent now which is embarrassing for the champion.
Dubois earned it and beating Big Baby Miller was a big achievement. Iâve always been big on big baby Miller. Dubois had no other options and fought who was there.
Wilder has a punches chance against usyk.

joseph parker & agit kabayel were both seen as more deserving of a shot than danielâs second shot at oleksandr
oleksandr is not struggling to find an opponent, heâs basically ready to retire & looking for the biggest, easiest money fights. he could fight fabio or agit next but wants to get in a voluntary first
Actually, donât mind a fight like this falling outta the sky. Legit looking forward to it style wise ;D. Guaranteed heavyweight chaos before itâs all sorted out. Only thing Dubois is guilty of is losing to an ATG and facing top competition. The merit and earing talk with the particular wbo belt sort of goes out the window with Moses anointed #1. For literally doing nothing ring accomplished close to what Dubois has, or for that matter Wardley tbh. I look at Usyk and his next move as âthe manâ at hvy. It needs to include Wardley should he win and Kabayel no doubt.

Usyk should face Kabayel. The next best available contender rather than look for a US opponent that no one cares about like Wilder or Ruiz.

Fury v Ngannou was a joke fight and he was clearly avoiding Usyk for the cash crab which nearly did not go his way.
Kabayel is the next best available contender and I think Zuffa must have offered him an insane amount of money to face a fighter from USA so he has to find one.
