Errol Spence Jr returns to face Tim Tszyu in Sydney in a fascinating middleweight showdown. Stephen Fulton meets Liam Wilson in the co-feature, with unbeaten prospects and rising Australian talent rounding out a stacked fight card.

I like both boxers so don’t mind who wins. It will be interesting to see what Spence has left.

Gotta hand it to Spence. A full 3-year layoff, only to step into the ring with Tim Tszyu in hostile territory. No warmups, no layups, no nothing. Straight into the fire. This, and the recent Xander-Ennis fight are what I love about boxing, but don’t always see. Fighters throwing caution to the wind and betting on themselves to win. No taking the easy road… no ducking… no controversy. Just “let’s get in there and fight.” These are the fighters that fan can easily get behind. Fans are tired of “champions” ducking obvious challenges, and giving all the excuses in the book.

stephen fulton missing the agreed 133 weight limit by 6 pounds, which cool boy requested from the original 130, fight might be off

Fulton had no intent whatsoever of making weight, days ago. Meanwhile Liam screwed out of a full camp and expenses. Hopefully he is compensated in some manner…and Fulton not afforded a major PPV stage again. Card needs to be put on the reduced produce shelf at this point.

Six pounds??!!??

Yeah… I agree with @Spicoli
Compensate Liam accordingly… and give Fulton more than just a slap on the wrist.

That was a good entertaining contest. Spence did well for staying in there. He gets hit far too much now.

Hope Tszyu can win a title.
