Hope Aleem packs his lunch. Do wonder about Pacheco’s full motivation but honestly think that’s his biggest threat here. Decent enough fight. Interesting Cruz coming back and already talking about going down to 130 and little mention of Montoya. He didn’t just lose v Muratalla in gutsy stand but also soaked up damage. At 30 years old and with 7 starts…just focus on the immediate Andy.

Absolute destruction job by Cruz. Sharp focused and about 3 levels separated. An offensive minded Cruz is a Cruz demanding your attention.

Pacheco is fun on the offense and works his longer punches inside pretty decent and comes off the jab. But in between he isn’t easy to miss and stays a bit straight line. Looked good late but no need at all for Aleem to sponge up a pounding like that after the 10th. Corner and the ref late on the wave off. Next step will be interesting, and he’ll be fun while he’s in the mix
