may i ask, how does everyone knows these fighters except me?
Do they visit your local Pub, or pop in your local grocery store time to time…because ive never seen them before. They ain’t in the newspapers or anything (not that i read them anyway) and i dont see them on the tele..
Maybe i’m sounding like a louzy boxing fan, but who is David Barnes? :dontknow:
lol i thought most peeps knew david barnes! hes a manchester boxer used to be a welterweight but after having a bad defeat moved down to light welterweight. hes beeen in boxing news magazine.
Wel Emma cool click for talkin about somebody that i want 2 talk about. I posted about him on here time ago but got hardly any replies. I think he has the potential to be a world champ. Technicaly he is very good and moving down to light welter is a good move. After watchin him draw against Ali Numbembe, i was very surprised that they put him in with Joshua Okine straight after. Numbemebe and Okine are very very similar fighters so it didn’t make sense to put him with that style of fighter right after struggling to a draw against Numbembe. He’s moved up to number 3 at light welter in the British rankings and he should push on for a European title shot in the next 8 month or so. His style is very eye catching and he is certainly IMO no less talented then Junior Witter…all be it, a lot younger with less experience.
ahhh…yeah i remember! He was the guy who fought that weird african guy in the 4 round match.
He’s a good solid fighter with really good skills, me thinks he will make it in the big time…I was really impressed with him, good luck to David. We need more brits to make an impression on the americans. 8)
By the way, reffereing to your other post did you mean Muhammad Ali?
well then, next time i meet David Barnes…I’ll tell him i’ve got a good friend on saddoboxing.com who’s interested in meeting up with him again, and also he was silly to have never taken a chance to spend more time with that nice girl called emma he met back at the nottingham arena. How’s that? ;D
Anyway, checking up on his record now it seems like he’ll have to have a rematch with a fella called Joshua Okine…a tko loss must be quiet a setback for his career.
because you are either born with it or not, time will tell if he can pull through difficult situations.
Times when his body hurts and he has nothing left, whether he can recover from a difficult knockdown. You could call heart the X-factor of boxing, i haven’t seen much of David Barne so i can’t really say.
he was on the run from the army a couple of years back he went AWOL!!
I think because he was a pro boxer they went soft on him, did you get my PM?? he is not married but i’ll find out if he has a bird i’ll put a good word in for you :lickish:
