If Brock beats Timor Ibragimov this month IMO he has earned a title shot (the reverse is also true of Ibragimov)
I think Brock has boxed well in the bouts I have seen, nothing flashy, but very smart for a HW.
I wouldn’t go so far to say that he is the hottest contender, but if he beats Ibragimov he will definately
be up there.

I rate Brock better than Nicolay Valuev. Brock is average but I think he can do very well for himself at this point in the division.
I don’t know why some people assume that just because a fighter is American they get on the fast track to fame and glory…ever hear of guys like Winky Wright or Ron Lyle or Sonny Liston or Bernard Hopkins or even Marvin Hagler.
Those guys weren’t loved because they were American and they had to fight hard to get title shots and had to fight even harder to earn respect and bastards like the guy who started the thread still don’t give respect ONLY because the fighters are from a certain country.
