He’s just a face in the game. I see nothing truly special about him. He will pick up a belt or two, but I don’t see super stardom on him. He has some talent.

More impressed with Carrington each time out. Important to keep push/hype in prospective in not even 2 years pro yet but he does have a special feel to him. Top Rank is not shy about matching guys tough and their best laid plans for 125 unifications were dumped on their head watching Robeisy Ramirez upset. On a side note the WBO have dropped Robeisy completely from top 15 ???. That has to be a misprint. Unless he’s stated intent to go 130?! But Shu Shu has to be watching Ford getting a title shot and licking his chops!

Carrington has a sweet left hook, reminiscent of Oba Carr.

Lil Sug-Sug for Sugar-Sugar, it’s an abbreviation for it

prospect of the year for both espn & ring magazine for twenty three

I see a break out 2024 for Carrington

Talk about timing. He shot up 3 spots in the wbo rankings the day before his fight last week :cwm13:. But have to say it’s totally warranted. Think his next couple of fights and how matched will be pretty revealing. Maybe we get a ‘now or never’ type showdown with recently deposed champ Robeisy Ramirez.

i’d like to see shushu fight someone like ruben villa next

I think (hope) we might see something eventually materialize out of the upcoming Lopez v Abe card. Couple of belts on the line. Always weary of fast-tracking a guy but have the feeling 126 is about to get real busy.

yeah with naoya potentially moving up to feather next year the division could be a lot of fun

shu shu came in at number nine in the latest wbc featherweight rankings & he is also number five with the wbo

Deserves it but basically the wbo left him where he was just a day prior to his last fight. If Ball goes for wba Ford as has been talked about I wonder if the wbc drops him from #1. Feels like 9th for Carrington is just prepositioning to skyrocket.
