Hello i am very exited to be a new member to the forum and i look forward to hear what you going to say.
I want to start boxing but i do not have a boxing gym where i currently live. What i can do in a regular gym so by the time i move back to my home and go to a boxing gym i will be ready to start learning box?
p.s.
1.The time i will move back home is a year.
2. I am 1.73 cm height and weight about 65 kg.
3. I like spending time at the gym or outside doing activities like running. In a week i can go to the gym 5-6 days depending how much i have to work.
hit the ropes, practice stance/footworks, shadowboxing. running. thats the basic everyday stuff.
Welcome by the way! It’s a lovely place here!
Thank you for your quick reply.
I was thinking of training the upper body and the core-legs one each day every 5-6 times a week so can develop my strength, and do some running to improve my cardio capacity.
As to practice stance/footworks, shadowboxing i could start by my own but shouldn’t i wait for a trainer to show me those stuff?
Also by hit the ropes do you mean i should do jumping rope?
Checkout some youtube videos, there’s heaps of boxing lessons, about stances punches, just watch out for eric kelly

Hi ,good luck with it all. Which area are you?
whenever you rotate your hips your body weight must simultaneously transfer from leg to leg in the same motion. try to understand this.
