You guys both do not have a freaking clue what you are talking about. The issue is not so much what is happening, but what might happen. No one knows for sure, we have to take precautions, be prepared for the worse. But OK, if you guys feel that The World Health Organization, and The United Nations, and The Center for Disease Control are all full of shit, then you aren’t likely to listen to me, are you?

No one knows for sure, we have to take precautions, be prepared for the worse. In our lifetime, there is a very good chance that there will be a serious pandemic. All the experts agree. We were damn lucky SARS wasn’t more contagious than it was. That was serious shit! Bird flu? so far we are ok. So far, it is not really contagious, but that could easily change if the virus mutates. Same goes for swine. This kind of thing will happen, we just don’t know when.
But I guess it’s kind of trendy to blame things on the media. Makes people feel clever or something.
This all reminds of back in the 80’s, my Dad, who is pretty conservative, raving about how AIDS was just a bunch of media hoopla. How wrong he was. :rolleyes:
