You mayswell make this fight considering Benavidez is good off of his last fight against Zurdo and Beterbiev has not fight since he fought Bivol out the last time.
What say you guys? Would be interesting… of course, I would take Benavidez because he has been more active.
This fight would be an all out war! Definitely worth watching.
I would always back Beterbiev against any puncher but with age and inactivity I think Benavedez would probably win.
It would still be an epic battle and I would hate to see Arthur lose. David Benavedez is the new superstar of boxing.
i’d like to think artur is still near elite level but at 41 & approaching a year & a half inactivity i think that’s unlikely. david b should really be looking at jai, if he’s going back down, then dmitry
Yeah… at this point in time, I’d have to go with Benavidez also. The age difference is too much to discount. However long it lasted, it would be an action-packed fight.
I’m actually really surprised at just how little buzz or hype or rekindled talk there was for the trilogy, specifically from Turki and company, up to and after Bivols recent fight. Only because he literally insisted on it taking place. But now, literally nothing…just crickets 
. Why is that. Usually means something else is already lined up, more so for Bivol possinly but Beterbiev might as well have a ‘Silver-alert’ put out for himself and no idea why. 41 yrs old has no mercy on anyone. Especially high caliber athletes sitting on the bench for going on a year and a half now. He’s still sitting numero uno in 3 of the 4 alphabet soup groups so if a match v Benavidez can be worked at let’s have it but it feels like a 3rd option. But he needs to get active and restoke the fire to maximize. If he walks right into it and comes up short, I’m sure the calls of “Bivols leftovers and he was ancient” are already cued up. And tbh it’s pretty valid.
Beterbiev has not been fighting at all. His last fight was against Bivol… Beterbiev may be on his way out.
