I only see Haye winning in bigger and better fashion in a rematch don’t get me wrong. But I’m not sure a rematch with Haye is what Boxing needs right now. Boxing is enjoying a huge revival and I think everyone wants to see Haye take on the Klitschko brothers to keep it going.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
say it aint true!!!
A REMATCH CLAUSE?!?!?! But I thought David Haye was ANTI-rematch?? Wasn’t that one of his excuses for not fighting the Klitschko’s along with money and his “injury”?
It doesn’t matter anyway, David is going to have to wait a while before getting a shot at Wladimir (who I assume is the Klitschko he wants to fight). Wlad has Chambers early in 2010 and then Povetkin who will be holding the IBF interm title since he’s had to wait so long because Alex injured himself and then SOMEONE couldn’t be asked to fight earlier in 2009 just to pass the time. Vitali has Johnson in December and then I am not sure who he’s fighting after that, maybe Maskaev although I hope not.
It certainly wasn’t an easy fight for Haye in the first place. Although I’m happy he won, I didn’t think he did enough to take it.
Maybe it was his hand, maybe not. We’ll see in the rematch - I would like to see him make Valuev pay for missing so much this time!
Given Haye’s activity rate or lack therof, this is bad news , he will defend it probably as late as possible and then who knows when he will fight after that. just when we though the division was going to light up a bit .
That is bad news.
But on the positive vibe,I can see him putting the big bore into retirement.
No way!!! If that is PPV as well it could be a very low grossing fight!
I’m just saying NO…
No. He’s Anti 4 Rematches!!!
Valuev comments on Haye fight | Fightnews - Boxing News Updated 24/7 Here is the Link to where I saw the news anyway!
Valuev has to get some wins first but do not see it. Haye is a train crash waiting to happen. Klits will beat him.
I don’t think Valuev would want it. He’s already been saying how he didn’t want the match in the first place, let alone another embarresment.
Yeah because the Klitschko’s normally do that…HELLOOOOOO this is Earth calling rjjtszyu, come in rjjtszyu
so Haye’s got Ruiz, Valuev rematch, both Klits and apparently RJJ and Hopkins want him too? No way he’ll be able to retire whe he’s 31 like he says if all these come off. There won’t be any need for a rematch with Valuev anyway cos Vitali will probably obliterate him if that fight goes ahead. A Valuev rematch would be incredibly low grossing though, a lot of people were disappointed with the fight and wouldn’t pay another £15 to watch then fight again
Did Haye’s injury affect Valuev’s right hand too?
Yep, apparently Sauerland has options on Haye’s next three fights and Valuev is contractually guaranteed a rematch as one of those three. And Haye-Valuev only did 400 000 buys. That’s all according to Frank Warren’s column last weekend though. I was going to post it but forgot.
Just read at eastside that if Hopkins beats RJJ he wants Haye according to Schaefer. I think Hopkins could take him
Hahaha Frank is a prick every other source i read ( about 5 ) said id did in excess of 800k, who would I believe old bitter Frank Warren or 5 well repsected British Journalists.

Sorry Lyle , forgot it was ONLY 3
I thought the whole goal of professional boxing was to beat the best opponents out there and win all the titles but according to all of England this is not the case ![]()
