There are a lot of domestic fights Joshua can have. He should take them.
He’s fighting Kevin Johnson next month. Barring Price the rest of them have some serious catching up to do (miles behind)
Although Dillian Whyte would be interesting as he “destroyed” Joshua in the ams (which turned out to be a knockdown/-plus 50-50 punch-up when Joshua was a teenager)
Real difficult one for his management, but not an unpleasant problem to have!
They could be on a goldmine here, but because there is so much crap in the heavyweight division now it is difficult to see how he will get rounds. The names he could fight are Thompson, Price or Wilder, all Haye sparring partners, or indeed Haye himself. I dont think Vlad would take the risk against him because he is now too old to handle a rematch if he gets beat, he will have a few more fights against the Tyson Furys and Lucas Browns then call it a day.
Interesting times, what would you do if you were his manager/promoter? He’s young and relatively inexperienced, theres probably a good argument for him fighting bums for 2 years then having a go at Wilder/Haye/Price who will have beaten Vlad by then(given a chance).
AJ want the British title in 2015 so that removes most of that list ;D
He wants to fight for it at Watford FC (Vicarage Road) in the Summer.
He’s said this numerous times over the last 12 months.
Holds around 28,000 so would be a decent event.
I can see AJ beating Johnson (stopping him in a few rounds) then fighting for the British title (winning that) then moving upwards pretty fast, he’s already ranked 15 by the IBF, 15 by WBA and 8 by WBC.
This after only 10 fights and 17 rounds is pretty impressive.
If he stops Johnson in a few rounds like i think he will then take the handbrake off and let him go for it i say.
