Abdullah Mason is a fantastic talent and won the fight of the year last year for me against our British boxer Sam Noakes. Both showed heart, grit and determination to try and win the vacant world title. The class and quality from Mason prevailed. I hope he goes on to achieve great things in boxing.
Abdullah is part of a big boxing family so they will be involved in boxing for many years to come.

Absolutely looking forward to all of this. TR finally got their network deal stateside but in a weird way feels like Dazn are overshadowing them just a little bit. This is running 4 hrs on both TNT and TruTV same format as time on Espn but with 2,3 times the airtime available. Just hope they don’t make it a babbling Dazn talk fest and that they keep the matches rolling. Mason and Shu Shu are tremendous talents both with huge futures, shine the light bright and let’s get back to local thriving ‘stars’ in the making. We don’t want to hear an informercial with main kicking off at midnight over here

it’s a decent card. i think both albert & rene will give good showings, particularly rene. i’m not sure if christopher has enough to trouble tiger
How are we not having a ‘beard-gate’ with Bell like we had with Boots Ennis?! Seeing him backstage walking in that thing is absurdly long

. Carlos Ramos v Deric Scooter Davis up first. Don’t blink. Likely chance Ramos has his liver evaporated in short order.

Serviceable 1st by Ramos Davis trying to figure out the blocky squat southpaw. Davis got him trapped in corner for a minute but Ramos ok with short lefts over top going into 3rd. No early ko here at all. Davis having to study a bit.
Edged 3rd to Ramos but Davis steadying. Ramos is understated cagey in there. 3-1 Davis. Nothing wrong at all with a young prospect needing to work for it.
Davis finally gets off and Ramos answers back immediately. Decent little thinking scrap.
Gave last round to Ramos and now at 3-2 Davis 
. Time for Davis to down shift because Ramos is right in there, touching him often!
4-2 Davis but he is sponging a lot of silly shots trading with Ramos at the end of 6th. Ramos clowning Davis as he walks back to corner thinking he had him buzzed. Wow. Very solid test here.
4-3 Davis but something tells me these cards are going to wider than the gap in the smile of Usyk. Final round and one you really wish was set for 10.

Pretty fun opener and great learning experience for Davis. 5-3 for me Davis. Mora saying Davis pretty much flat out lost it

Not sure what it is but somehow seem to miss majority of Tiger Johnson fights. Some Independence Day festivities happening next door and who can pass up a massive bbq spread . Looks as though Tiger is in full control into the 9th.

Measured start from Shu Shu and Palacios early 1st. Being a cross promotion not sure why they cannot get either Porter or Bradley on live announce during fights. Carrignton steady working jab and both feeling out.
2-0 Carrington. Unleashes first combo at halfway point of 2nd round. Palacios not doing a lot of anything. Subdued start but Carrignton stiffening the jab.
