they also signed jai
i think cain sandoval & troy nash are good signings. robert meriwether iii might be alright as well
Another promotion company in the boxing game backed by Turki and Dana. Probably a good thing for boxers so they have more options.
I don’t know what it means for fans who want to watch on TV. It will be interesting to see what they do with PPV.
Oleksandr Usyk’s team director, Sergey Lapin, claims Dana White is in talks to sign the Ukrainian to Zuffa Boxing.

Trying my best not to dog it out but it is Dana. But fair is fair and let’s see how the initiation card unfolds. Big thing to me is the mixed messages of the ‘zuffa concept’ and Jais immediate focus on belts and fighting the best aka champs. If they come in and stick to freezing out all sanctioning bodies and no recognition of ABC titles, zero cross promotions, I just see it being an uphill venture. They need much more than 12 shows all year as a start up. And tbh the fanbase is going to need to divorce itself from counting 3,4 belts, unifications and reigns etc. That doesn’t just happen overnight if at all. Literally every conversation over decades about GOATS, P4P, best of the best champions involves title moves in different divisions, undefeated title reigns, unifications etc. It’s actually a very hot/cold relationship as far at the sanctioning belts go. Also hope we’re not just seeing a warm-up pre game for future UFC PPV cards as we are this weekend, boxing still being a second up runner as it were to TKO and Danas main meal in UFC. Or WWE ;D. Big time boxing and consistency need to be a stand alone production once again. But hey let’s see
main event for their second card
rumoured to be on that undercard:
serhii bohachuk v radzhab butaev
oleksandr gvozdyk v radivoje kalajdzic
might need a vpn for certain regions, not sure if this will be the whole show or not
troy nash v jaycob ramos was a very good opener, i have it a draw
terrible cards. all three judges gave the fight to troy nash, 59-55, 59-55 & 58-56.
robert meriwether looked good early, coasted a bit in the third & fourth, finished strong in the sixth
robert gets the expected unanimous decision 60-54, 60-54 & 59-55.
twenty one year old robert garica fighter emiliano cardenas won a six round unanimous decision over marcus harris
Went and tried to sign up for Paramount Plus for this little venture but keep getting error message. Tbh more interested in the roll out, production, bells and whistles than the fights. Heard the have Tessitore and Kellerman.

floyd diaz was back in the ring for the first time since september 2024. he struggled quite a bit, he finished well in the 8th. he should win by a couple of rounds
