Watched ‘Wolf Creek’ over the weekend. First hour is boring as feck but the secong half of it is quite nasty and gruesome.

Been a long tome since I have shouted at people doing stupid things in a movie. They really annoyed me when they didn’t finish the guy off when they had him down !
Didn’t really enjoy it at all… Wasn’t really scary and seemed to be over really quickly.
Mind you I was a bit stoned, but that usually makes scary movies even more scary for me…

she was in a panic & had just shot him in the neck so could easily have thought just leg it like most people.
Yep. I got annoyed at the exact same bit. i was screaming at er to take his knife out of its sheath and stab him or smash his head wuth the rifle butt.
The “head on a stick” thing though was one of the creepiest killings i have ever seen in a movie. Whoever came up with that idea is warped.
My lasting memory of that film is the line ‘head on a stick’…
It’s quite funny - here in Australia the guy who played Mick is a dude called John Jarratt who is known for hosting limp lifestyle home rennovation style shows… His performance in that is surprising to say the least.

It was a bit of a shit film I thought not enough action.
Hostel was good, slow to get going but quite sick once it did, plus it was a bit more realistic in a way.
What I really liked it about though was that it had a genuinely feel good ending which is virtually unheard of this genre.
A good movie to watch if you are angry with the world and want payback,
At least we have kangaroos…and know how to spell the word kangaroo lol. I currently have a kangaroo across the road from me, it seems to be living there now. For a bunch of convicts we have really come far…and we are cooler than you guys ;D And plus what were you thinking “Oh we have a little do gloomy country where its always raining but lets give the nice sunny island to the convicts” lol ;D
