ok he got the decision over hopkins but thats it maybe he’s in the top 10 but 1 good win does not make u no.1 p4p! No disrespect but before the fight a lot of people were saying he did not have much chance after fighting light middles.
I admit i havent seen the hopkins fight but that does not matter too much in this discussion. He still has to establish himself we will know more after the rematch.
if u can make an argument for taylor after beating hopkins then you can make an equally as strong argument for hatton if not stronger.
James Taylor is a famous singer and guitarist from the 70’s and 80’s. So between the two, I’d have to say PBF, as Taylor is pretty old by now. Then again, he’s pretty tall and lanky, so he might have a decent jab.
Was trying to do top ten p4p this morning looking at last Ring magazine list - not so easy now Tszyu (3) and Hopkins (1) have been beaten, especially as the guys that beat them don’t really warrant a top berth in the p4p rankings just yet.
BUT
if they have beaten these guys then they HAVE TO be ranked above them, though I can’t put Hatton any higher than #9 or #10 and Taylor no higher than #7 (at the moment)

It’s hard to figure where Hopkins and Taylor go- but without a doubt it leaves Mayweather, Winky, Barrera, and Morales way up there.
