Where does Conor Benn go from here?

Conor Benn has been exposed as a no better than a Misfit fighter. He has just been destroyed in 2 rounds for an undeserved Welterweight world title.

His best win is against a faded if not shot Eubank Jnr at middleweight.

So where does Conor go from here?

Conor has already managed to secure a multimillion contract from Zuffa which may be in jeopardy. As a result Benn must face the top boxers to meet his obligations.

At 154lb the boxers are all elite and top-level Ennis, Ortiz, Fundora and Zayas would be too much for Benn.

The boxers at 168lb are too big for Conor and he would have no chance against Sheeraz, Canelo and Mbilli.

Domestically he could try and face WBO middleweight Denzel Bentley or IBF light middleweight Josh Kelly. They would still be big fights.

The other alternative is to face Eubank for a third time and go into Misfit boxing facing the circus that is going on there. It is lucrative and his level. Tommy Fury is making a living from it.

What do you think he should do?

He won’t make it on the world stage. He knows that now.

He’ll continue to cash in though one way or another. Probably misfits

Kell Brooks could be another option.

Hopefully, he’ll go into his counting house, look at the huge pile of money and ask if the loss of integrity and loss of public goodwill were worth it…

I suspect he will.

Would Conor Benn have beaten Barrios?

I highly doubt it.
