Former 2-Time Middleweight Champion Felix Sturm, who lost his WBA title on July 15 against Javier Castillejo, will return to the ring against an opponent to be named on November 18. The 27-year-old German will fight on the undercard of Castillejo’s first title defence against mandatory challenger Mariano Natalio Carrera at the Color Line Arena in Hamburg, Germany. Sturm’s Promoter, Universum Box Promotions, has the right to promote the next three bouts of Castillejo and in the event of a victory for both fighters, a rematch between Castillejo and Sturm could happen early next year.

I think its a good decision to fight a “warm up” first after that terrible ko …
And I’m not jumping from Sturms bandwagon, he is a great boxer with a great future
before him…
