not only did he give taylor that fight by 2 points (115-113)…
2004-04-10 Cory Spinks W Zab Judah – Judge: Chuck Giampa 114-112 (spinks)
1994-01-29 Julio Cesar Chavez L Frankie Randall – Judge: Chuck Giampa 111-116 (rhandall)
2005-12-03 Jermain Taylor W Bernard Hopkins – Judge: Chuck Giampa 115-113 (taylor)
2000-10-07 Paulie Ayala W Johnny Tapia – Judge: Chuck Giampa 115-113 (ayala)
I really don’t know what fight some of you were watching, this was so obviously a draw or a Taylor win.
:o
SINCE WHEN DOES HITTING SOMEONES GLOVES COUNT AS A CLEAN PUNCH!!?!?!?!?!!! ??? ??? ???
Yeah, it was those punches on the gloves that were backing Winky up. Taylor hit gloves a lot but he also landed cleanly and around the ear. Don’t blame it on the judge, blame Winky for running like ODLH in the 12th.

Watch the 12th again…Winky was the one landing the punches. Taylor missed & still got the 12th round.
Don’t blame it on Winky when it was clearly his round.
i will respect the outcome of the poll

I voted YES anyone that says Ayala beat Tapia has no business judging ;D
I dont know how Taylor hits Winky once(being generous) in the 12th and gets the 12th. And takes a beating from Bernard in the 12th and still gets the 12th. 12 seems to be Jermain’s lucky number.. and thats how much longer he’ll b champ. 12 months

Backing Winky up? Umm…no he was never backed up. And Winky ran for the last 30 seconds after a dominant two minutes. He won the round, no way it should ever be scored for Taylor.
I had the fight 115-113 Taylor also, Great fight !

BULLSHAT!!! put your gloves up and let someone with power hit them…you will move…still doesn’t mean the punch landed…and Winky won that round…

Chuck is old and needs to retire, he clearly got lots of money doing some errand for someone
Boxing needs new pair of good eyesight for judges.
…or Chuck should have a new one prescribed one before the Winky fight
Winky’s guard was consitently broken through. Hence the swelling and being wobbled. Not to metion some massive body shots.
