I can see that. I like Byrd, he’s a classy guy. But Klits is just too big and fast. The reach seemed to be a huge factor in this fight. I’m surprised he didn’t fight one of those three before Klits, considering their history, actually thats says more about Byrd’s character than anything. Most fighters would have taken an easier fight. Buut no way should his wife/manager be allowed to come to any more fights.

Agreed, he didn’t come to lay down, he came to fight and lost. No Shame in that. As if surviving the 5th wasn’t enough. Byrd deserves respect, he could easily dominate Cruiserweight but he fights Heavyweight. Where’s his respect?
I really don’t understand why people disrespect Byrd so much, he was a 168 pound amateur who went straight to the Heavyweight division, had to rely totally on skills and heart cause he has no punch, and oh yeah, look at who he’s fought:
