Driving down a busy road today when a womans dirty great 4x4 dies on her as she is reversing out of her drive blocking up pretty much both lanes. The traffic built up so I jumped out to see if there was anything I could do. Turns out it was an automatic and you cant push them (so I was told) so there was nothing I could do. Rather than get out and help everyone else sat there either argueing about whos right of way it was or doing jack shit.

I think I would have been justified in randomly left hooking the miserable unhelpfull bastards.

My mum has an automatic, if they cut out/die theres nothing you can do, can’t roll start em or nowt.

It was a brand new motor and it was turning over no problem, looking back it was probably an immobiliser or sumink else simple that was stopping it from starting.

…you can’t roll start them but you can roll them out of the way.

You can jump start them…you Euro’s ever do that? Jumper Cables and such
