Maybe he would get caught but because some come from some awesome crazy angeles,you are unable to guard against ALL of them and therefore more likely to get hurt because it is the punches you don’t see coming which hurt!

Margarito has a chin. What he doesnt have is good defense, that’s why we know he has a good chin when he hasn’t fought anyone good, basically…
I hope Margaritos better than that video makes him look. If not, hes asking to be schooled. He’s wide open up the middle. It would seem most people are asking if any of his potential foes can withstand his assault. It looks like he punches hard… but it also looks like he misses big. Any boxer with a good jab could keep that guy off balance all night and kill his punch output and at least halve the number of punches he lands. Add counter punching to that and he will get schooled.
Not trying to take shots at the margarito fans… but please someone tell me he’s better than that video makes him look.
Undisputed u make a whole lot of sense, he looks amateurish and would get schooled by a good discipline boxer such as Mayweather, or even oscar Delahoya they would make him miss all night.

We all know that Margarito-Mayweather would be a lot better fight than if they have Floyd fight Hatton instead. Besides Margarito is the champion and if floyd want’s to capture more world titles and prove he is the best Margarito is the way to go.
Ha ha ha are you kidding me! Its not often someone says that such a stunning KO makes him look bad. He had him rocked so obvioulsy he’s gonna swing for the fences. He’s not that wide open all the time and while he is there’s 3/4 crazy ass haymakers coming for your ass! Thats his style, I don’t know how you can say it looks unimpressive.
Anything can look impressive when your winning but by the way he’s winging his punches and and rocks wards on his toes when he throws his uppercuts eludes to big flaws. Hes begging to be countered and knocked down. He presents himself as a big banger and not much more. He looks akin to a hyperactive Diego Corrales sans Jab. Hes prone to the same type of inside counters. Hes a welterweight Julio Gonzalez… Lots of heart, solid chin and a big puncher… and thats fine and great if you spend your life fighting a technical wiz like Cintron. ::**
A technical boxer would exploit all the holes in this guys game for 12 rounds if they cant knock him out. He would get beat up the middle and turned all night.
Margarito’s worthy of a shot but even though you shouldn’t judge him if you all you’ve ever seen is one 20 second highlight film, there’s no doubt he’s got some technical flaws, he’s too wide.
He’d just have to wear down Floyd, Floyd probably won’t be able to hurt him and he does throw from some odd angles and when Floyd’s been stunned its usualy from an odd angle.
I favor Floyd but at least if he fights Marg he won’t be fighting a no hoper.
Marg wearing Floyd down he would have to hit him. And Margarito is only real active because he has a target to hit. He fights a boxer that moves and he will be in trouble.
All of margarito’s opponents with the exception of Santos, have been fighters with little or no defense, that stand right in front and trade with him.
He will look spectacular against anyone who is there to be hit.
He fights someone who isn’t there to be hit he will look average at best.
I was a Margarito fan, till he fought Santos for the second time and I found out what he was.
But I was with him when he warred with that guy on Shobox, I was for him when he beat Andrew Lewis, I was rooting my head off when he beat Hercules, and I thought he would knock out Santos I wanted to see him vs. Mayorga soo bad!!!
But once he fought Santos I saw what he was.
Name one fighter that Margarito has fought, a fighter that used a jab and moved and used defense. Name me one fighter Margarito has beaten that did that.
OK, now name me any tall fighter that has tried to come forward on Floyd Mayweather throwing punches from awkward angles.
