Kessler is the worst guy if you are talking about risk/reward - he won an EU-champ gold medal against all the former eastern guys, who easily beat out American guys at the time. I never saw a more skilled fighter than Mikkel Kessler and he will one day be P4P No. #1

The only thing that I see wrong with Kessler is that he’s not fast on his feet. With his height and reach that doesn’t matter much most of the time though. From what I’ve seen, only a slick boxer with an iron chin has a chance against him.
The only thing i see really wrong with kessler is his fitness. Alot of the time when a fight goes the distance…he gets heaps tired and thats when the opponents have the best chance to beat him. He was exhausted against mundine and i think it was also against thysse where he had trouble coz the fight went so long. Hes got power but he shouldnt rely on it coz it could be his downfall.

I never stated anything about such thing in this forum, but before the Calzaghe fight my view were that Lacy would lose to most top boxers. Still my view.

Kessler looks like the guy Calzaghe should fight. I watched the Mundine and Lucas fights and was very impressed. He’s huge at super middle and punches hard with the right. His defense looked sound against Mundine and he was able to time him from the outside much better than previous opponents. He fights at a pretty measured pace so someone who has quick feet, a good chin and the ability to work hard for 12 rounds could outwork him. I don’t see anyone other than Calzaghe who meets this description
