isn’t it funny that sometimes when a fighter is Knocked down, he isn’t cohenrent enough to beat the count but as soon as the ref waves his hands the fighter regains his senses instantly…
Like Judah, he could barely stand against KT, but as soon as Nady waves it off he regains his senses almost instantly…
He didn’t get his sense back, which is why he startd throwing stalls and laying his hands on the ref,he was still dazed from the Bazooka shot from Tszyu, which explains why he apologised to Nady on numerous occasions after the fight. You can still see he was dazed by his eyes. He looked confused, bewildered.
But he was coherent enough to argue with the stoppage. watch it again as soon as Nady waves his hands he immediately begin to object. When just seconds ago he looked as if he couldn’t even say his own name.
Yes and his demenor switches about 8 times. From protesting, to confused, to angry, to disbelief, back to protesting, to confused, then non rememberance, then rememberance, then disbelief, then fear, then anger, then hate, then suffering
Simple, The fighter gets clocked and is dazed and confused. He also subconsciously knows that he is in danger as he knows he can’t properly defend himself. This causes stress which makes the disorientation last longer. Once the ref waves the fight off, the boxer knows that he cannot get hit any more and immediately loses the fear/confusion.
Then he begins to try and salvage pride by pretending that he is OK and could have fought on and that the ref robbed him of a famous win.
Have a look at loads of stoppages with this in mind, and see what I mean?
