i tried to cap the fight last night…but i get broadcast flags here and it shut down…correct me if i’m wrong…but didnt it say “No standing 8 counts” in the rules before the fight?

I think Tarver’s left glove did touch the canves, so he got a mandatiory eight rather than a standing eight?
Yeah X thats right, he’s glove hit the canvas so it counts as a knockdown.
The refferee thought his hand hit the canvas, so it was ruled legitimently as a knockdown…
Although i’m not sure Tarver’s hand ever did touch
Yeah - it was just out of shot on the TV - still, Tarver didn’t complain at the time!
Yeah it touched. In the replay you even see tarver look down at the glove right as he was regaining his balance and his response to the call showed that he knew his glove touched.
Yeah, the glove touched…anytime you use anything to keep from falling like hands, ropes or your opponent it will get you the standing “8”.
